How to Wash Dog Urine with Bleach
You have to be careful when cleaning dog urine with bleach as the high concentrates of ammonia in urine experience a dangerous chemical reaction when mixed directly with bleach. Because bleach is a powerful cleaning agent that kills germs and bacteria, it is useful in cleaning up dog urine, but there are special precautions you should always take to ensure you dont create a dangerous chemical reaction.

Mop up as much of the dog urine as you possibly can with paper towels. If the urine is on carpet or furniture, be sure to press down to absorb the urine to keep it from seeping into the fibers and creating a permanent odor.
2Spray a mixture of 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and 1 cup of clean water onto the dog urine stain. This will help break up the concentrated ammonia in the urine and make the stain easier to disinfect.
3Mix 1/2 cup of bleach with 1/2 gallon of clean water. If you are cleaning carpet, furniture or clothing, you can substitute color-safe bleach to keep from damaging the color.
4Soak a cleaning rag in the water and bleach mixture. Put on rubber gloves before retrieving the rag from the bleach and water. Wring the rag of excess liquid.
5Scrub the dog urine with the bleach and water mixture. Repeat this as often as it takes to penetrate deep down and clean away the odor.
6Allow the cleaned area to air dry.
