How to Train Your Dog Not to Bark
Intro: have you ever had your neighbor complaining about your dog waking them early in the morning or late at night? This can make for bad relationships. I myself have been kept up all night by a neighbor’s barking dog. Well I finally was able to train my dog not to bark. I came across this method by accident and believe it or not it works. I want to share with you a very simple procedure that actually works or I should say it worked for me. I promise you it will not take you long to read this report and the chances our very great that you will not believe how effective it will be.
First let me say there is nothing more cruel sounding to me than the use of shock collars. It seems to me to be such a cruel way to stop ones dog from barking, I will never forget the time I was reading meters and saw a little mut that weighed about 14lbs with this collar around its neck. The little guy would get excited about seeing me and would bark and each time he did he would start out with a little bark and end with a sad yelp. These collars were never an option for me. They may be for some but not for me.
Now lets just get to the method I used that was absolutely amazing. Amazing because in less than two weeks my dog quit barking unnecessarily. I am not the dog whisperer so I do not know what goes on in the mind of man’s best friend, but I must say this method kept my dog from barking. So just how did I keep my dog from barking. So, how to train your dog not to bark, I hope it works for you as it did for me.
I share my home with four children and a wonderful black lab. The labs name is cassie and she is a wonderful pet loving, protective, and intelligent and here is how cassie learned not to bark.
1.Take a spray bottle, the kind that you use to clean your windows. Make sure that you clean it very good so that no residue of any chemical remains in the bottle.
2. Remove the old label so that you know what is in the bottle.
3. Take a solution of ½ white vinegar and ½ tap water and mix into the spray bottle.
4. Now when ever your dog begins to bark unnecessarily, take the spray bottle and spray one or two shots into his or her face. This is harmless and will not hurt your dog. Be carful and avoid the eyes.
5. Say something like “no bark” and repeat it several times. Next time your dog begins to bark unnecessarily repeat the same actions. Probably after about two to three days of this the dog will begin to get the idea.
So there you have it, How to stop your dog from barking.
P.S. I work from home and have some time to train my dog. Maybe you would like to work from home also
