How to teach dog to come
I am going to share one of my secrets to dog training with you. If you have a dog that is afraid of fireworks and load bangs, you might be having some trouble at New Years Eve. But there is actually a way to teach you dog not to react or get stressed by this.
Get a hold of a start pistol or some firecrackers. Have a friend go a good distance from you and your dog. Every time he fires a shot or a cracker, you praise the dog and give him treats. Do this every dog and move a little closer each dog.
In the end the dog will learn to ignore this sound and will only have good associations with the loud noises.
